The amount of space required for delivery is dependant upon the size of unit & the equipment that we use for delivery. Site Access-Please read the site requirements below to make sure you have enough room. (also see diagram)

A 10' & 20' storage or office container can be delivered on a straight truck or tractor trailer unit. The straight truck will need approximately 50' of straight clearance in front of the storage unit plus the length of the container. The tractor trailer will need approximately 70' of straight clearance in front of the storage unit plus the length of the container. The width requirement is a minimum of 10' & height clearance needed is about 14'.

A 40' storage or office container will be delivered on a tractor trailer unit. The tractor trailer will need approximately 70' of straight clearance in front of the storage unit plus the length of the container. The width requirement is a minimum of 10' & height clearance needed is about 14'.

If you are unsure about whether you have enough space to accommodate our delivery equipment, we will gladly preview the site and determine how we can place the unit.

No special site preparation is required the surface should be fairly level, smooth, and firm. The unit can be delivered on dirt as long as it is not too soft, or on cement, pavement, gravel or grass. Some sites can be limited to getting access during certain times of the year, like the spring when it is wet & during the winter season because of the snow.

When you place your order, we will ask you whether we should deliver the container with the doors off last (DOL) doors facing the truck or the doors off first (DOF) doors facing the rear of the trailer. This decision will depend upon where you want the unit located on the site, DOL is the most common because you are able to back into a spot & set the doors off last on the edge of driveway or area.
