PrintWe all understand the importance of creating a safe and secure learning environment, ensuring that students are able to conduct their studies with as few distractions as possible, but creating this environment can be a difficult process too big for just one district to take on. It takes involvement from a community of professionals each with their own ideas and expertise to add to the conversation. Creating a place where these community members can come together is something the New York State School Facilities Association (or NYSSFA) has been doing since the late 1950’s. The organization started as a trade association for Directors of School Buildings and Grounds but has grown over the years to involve more faculty and staff from schools all across Upstate New York.

In 2013, just over 10 billion dollars were spent on renovations, additions, or new schools in America, according to the Annual School Construction Report. Of this $1.25 billion was spent in the New York region. The New York State School Facilities Association work to try to make sure that these buildings are crafted with the upmost quality ensuring that they will not only create a safe and cleaning learning environment but one that will last for years to come. The downward sloping trend of money spent on renovations suggest that this association and ones like it have been successful in increasing the longevity of these buildings, meaning they require less money to maintain.

NYSSFA 2NYSSFA provides their members with support, information, and tools they need to get the job done right. That’s why they recommend A-Verdi to their building and grounds people in need of storage space when working on a capital improvements or new school projects. Our containers provide a secure storage space that is perfect on any school worksite. We offer NYSED school boxes that lock securely from the outside but contain a panic bar on the inside preventing any students from accidently getting locked inside. We grade our boxes based on wear and age, and make sure to only use the highest quality containers for NYSED boxes as we understand the importance of keeping everything stored in working order and free from any rust, dust or other potential left behinds from previous jobs. These containers come in both our standard 20’ and 40’ models and are always available upon request.

It has been a pleasure for us to serve the local community members who work so hard keeping our kids free of harm during their pursuit of learning. As a local family owned business we understand the importance of creating a clean and safe environment for the next generation to learn and grow. We are proud to be one of the first to adapt to new laws and regulations with our NYSED school boxes that add an extra level of safety when on a school jobsite. If you’re in need of storage for your upcoming jobsite, whether for a school or not, we’re sure we can find a container that is right for you, so don’t hesitate to call or stop by and we’ll be happy to help.
