A-Verdi in the Community: Attica Rodeo

Published On: May 7, 2016Categories: Special Events

When you think of a rodeo you probably think of farm animals, clowns, thick mustaches, spurs and cowboy hats. Well you’d be right, but the Attica Rodeo in Western New York is so much more than that. This is the rodeo’s 59th year and they have continuously been a hit amongst the local community and contestants, winning several “Rodeo of the Attica Rodeo sponsored by A-VerdiYear” awards. With events from Bronc Riding to Steer Wrestling and so much more in between, Attica provides the full rodeo experience which is sure to be fun for the whole family, but they do so much more than just a once a year entertainment event. They are a not-for-profit organization that does their best to promote equine health and education and help the local community through charitable donations.

They have numerous shows throughout the year that are not only aimed at entertaining but also educating the viewers. These shows include events like equine clinics, trail rides, and roping lessons to help attendees better understand the animals and their sport. With sports like this there is a certain kind of social responsibility that goes along with performing and they have shown us time and time again that they are doing their best to make sure that people are performing the sport responsibly and
that the animals involved are being cared for in a humane manor.

This year we will be sponsoring the Attica Rodeo by providing storage space to house equipment for the event. As a local family owned business we love finding events like this to sponsor that not only manage to provide top quality entertainment in upstate New York but also give back to the community while doing it. We are looking forward to the new events this year and can’t wait to see you there!
